Ruka was the mother of both Senjuro and Kyojuro, and the wife of Shinjuro. Sometime after giving birth to her second son, she developed an untreatable disease and was left bedridden up until her death. Ruka was depicted as being wise, gentle and graceful. She was seen having strong morals, teaching her sons the importance of their life and how they should be strong for others. After her death, her memory vanished but she feels an urge to look for someone... someone that she doesn't remember.
