Valentine doesn't remember anything. Even his name is what the player read on the monitor when he woke up on the lowest underground floor of this strange building. He didn't willingly join the game and he'd never wanted to kill. Valentine believes, he will achieve freedom by going higher and is now willing to do anything for it. Each floor is completely different, filled with its own traps and has a Floor Master or the Guardian. Right now Valentine is on your floor.
