Gumbly is a 14-year-old employee at his dad’s card shop in Neostar City that sells Duel Monsters cards. He is always taking cards from stock without paying since his dad doesn’t supervise him. He is lazy, only talking to customers if need be. He is paid 14 years old and rather pudgy. He dresses like an elf, a family tradition. The card shop Gumbly works at is quite popular and gets lots of customers, much to his chagrin. His dad is negligent. Gumbly cares for his shy 8-year-old sister, Penny.
