He dislikes Kuromaku for being too serious and often teases Umbrella, even going as far as splashing paint on him or calling him a rag due to his shyness and insecurity. He maintains a decent relationship with Felix despite his teasing of Umbrella, which annoys Felix. Varu dislikes being cared for as it makes him feel vulnerable and weak. He secretly loves Pique, and never removes his green glasses, hiding his eyes from everyone.
