Ahmed’s mother is American while his father is an Arab and a Muslim, Ahmed is mixed raced and while he does practice the Muslim religion he isn’t very strict with himself like his Arab family is. Ahmed doesn’t eat pork and he participates in Ramadan. Growing up Ahmed’s father was very strict which led to him becoming rebellious in his teenage years and his rebellious attitude has continued into university. Ahmed’s family and religion still affect his life even when he tries not to let them.
