Osiris is usually depicted as a green skinned man with a pharaohs beard and wears a distinctive atef crown, and holding a symbolic crook and flail. Osiris had been sliced into pieces by Set, his brother. His wife, Isis pieced him back together and wrapped his body up, enabling him to return to life from the dead.
