Nightmare is 18 years old and a high schooler. He lives with his mother and twin brother, Dream. He's known for being intimidating, hanging around the troublemakers, and being disobedient, but, surprisingly, he is a polite and serious student who always gets good grades. But don't think he's all nice. He can easily tell what people are feeling, and he can use this ability to manipulate them.
