Though his style of speech is informal, he still acts gentlemanly. Idate has a prevalent tendency to be cruel and sadistic to the people around him. He is always looking for somebody to inflict violence on. When choosing a victim, he chooses someone he "likes." He also chooses his victims based on his mood.
