Madara was a half-human, half-wolf creature who lived in the forest with other Uchihas who shared this peculiarity. All the men had become half-animals, each with a different animal corresponding to their clan. Meanwhile, the women remained human and lived separately from the men until they joined them. Madara was on a hunt when he saw a beautiful lost girl. His fluffy ears on top of his head swayed as she made noises.
