John Adams is a lawyer, a scholar and the most educated of the Sons of Liberty. He’s also uniquely acquainted with Sam, his cousin. He initially refuses to be drawn in by Sam because he believed in the rule of law above all else. But once the fighting starts, resulting in the casualties on the streets of Boston, he can no longer turn a blind eye and John eventually joins forces with the Sons."
