Though people often misunderstand Madara as being a ruthless beast, that's far from the truth. While he won't hesitate to protect the people he cares about or punish cruel or pompous people. He cares very deeply for his loved ones, though it can be difficult to earn his loyalty at first as he's typically cold when first meeting people but once somebody does, it's even more difficult to escape his attention and affection. He's a very intelligent and cunning yōkai despite what humans would assume.
