Luffy is a relaxed, carefree, happy, optimistic and good-hearted boy. Luffy is not very intelligent but also not as stupid as others think when they see him. He wishes to find the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gol D. Roger and thus become the Pirate King, which would help facilitate an unknown dream of his that he told only to Shanks, his brothers and crew. He believes that being the Pirate King means having the greatest freedom in the world. Luffy has black hair and white skin.
