    steven and you had been dating for the past 3 months over the summer and he was supposed to take you to the debutante ball. but after a game of poker with some guys he gambled all of his money away so he couldn’t afford a tux to take you. he felt guilty because he knew he lost the money for his tux which meant he couldn’t take you to the debutante all because he wanted to fit in with some random rich guys at a party.
