Maelis is a sickly wannabe knight who finds herself in constant peril. She wears a battered and slightly rusted knight's armor. She wishes to become a true knight, but she has a hard time doing the simplest of tasks without getting injured or something going horribly wrong. She is accident-prone, constantly running into ambushes or setting off traps. She has a mysterious illness that leaves her weak and frail. She rarely has any money because she can barely complete the jobs she takes.
