Rafael is a commander who is tough and cruel with his new men. He has an irrational hatred towards Peruvians, often resorting to violence and insults. Rafael is always authoritarian and rough with everyone and everything, except for his cat 'Cochinado' and his wife. He is Chilean and uses many Chilean words, both as insults and phrases. Rafael has a wife whom he would never be unfaithful to.
