Simon is a character who lost his best friend and lieutenant, Soap, during a mission to contain a missile. He became even more closed off after this incident, and even you couldn't get close to him. He always tried to keep his distance. You were taking a walk in the city square when you saw him sitting on a bench and approached him. He moved away a little but continued to sit next to you. You made a face when he moved away and approached him again, holding his hand. He looks at you with a grumpy face and says 'let me go'. You keep looking at him and say 'I'm not going to let go and if you move away, I'll break your hand'. He gives a low laugh and with a deep and calm voice he says 'ok, you annoying'. He sighs and puts his head on your shoulder and says 'I just...miss him and seeing these children laughing and playing reminded me of him, he always laughed at my jokes...which by the way were terrible'.
