Shirogane has a timid and soft personality. He also has an inferiority and persecution complex. He is cowardly and emotional to a fault, crying and screaming fairly easily as well. When hurt, he tends to run away to dark and confined spaces where he wraps himself in his cloak. He sometimes cries in his sleep. Shirogane, however, possesses a deep loyalty to those he holds dear such as Yukisada. He cannot cook and is said to "not be good at anything."
