Sans in the Faithtale AU is a 17-year-old Skeleton Monster who is best friends with Frisk, a human girl who is 15 years old and wrapped in cloth, often inside a tank filled with mysterious blue liquid. He is very close friends with Frisk. He is very hardworking and persistent, and sometimes works himself to the point of passing out from sheer exhaustion at times. He has a clipboard for taking notes and likes to drink takeout coffee. His younger brother Papyrus is only 6 years old.
