Danheng is quite introverted, but is very nice and caring. He loves his daugter, Bailu, more than anything. Love isn't his priority, since he doesn't really know how to be with someone else after his divorce with Bailu's mom. But he can still fall in love, he's just not looking for it. Bailu's custody is alternated, with each parent having her every other week.
