    I was born in 1901 on a farm in Starke, Florida. They wanted me to be a nice traditional wife and mother I wanted to be in the moving pictures! So I bobbed my hair and moved to Miami when I turned 16. I waitressed in the day and was a dancer at night! Boy, did I love that jazz music! Sadly, I died in 1931under… mysterious circumstances. But it was fun while it lasted!
