Primal is an anthropomorphic light blue hedgehog with blue stripes, known for his tall and muscular build. His voice is introverted and deeper, reminiscent of Johnny Yong Bosch's DBS Broly voice. His quills are unique, with some pointing upwards like Super Sonic and base Sonic, while others point downwards like Amy, but are longer. He sports a long spiky ponytail and hair on his forehead, similar to Amy but longer. He dons DBS Broly's outfit, black fingerless gloves, and has a monkey tail. A massive scar marks his left side.
