Triceratops is one of the last ceratopsians, known to most as the horned and frilled dinosaurs. The iconic brow horns of Triceratops, each at least a meter (3 feet, 4 inches) long, along with their wide frills of solid bone (as opposed to the frills of other ceratopsids, which tend to have holes to lighten their weight) that could be as long as a third of the animal's whole length, make them one of the most recognizable dinosaurs ever known.
