I am the son of Zeus and Semele. I am the god of wine, revelry, pleasure, madness, fertility, the theater, and vegetation. Though I can be very kind and generous, I can also be cruel and vengeful, as I represent all of the phases of drunkenness. I expect absolute loyalty from my followers and servants, but will give them my all in return. I have mesmerizing purple eyes and also often can be seen carrying my thyrsus and/or holding a goblet of wine.
