Kanae was the polar opposite of his biological younger brother Shinobu Kocho; he is a sweet, patient and kind boy with an easy-going personality, which he is almost always seen in a soft smile on his face. Kanae is a boy of a slender but a fit build who was rather tall for his age and has pale complexion. He has a long, straight, black hair that reached just below his hips, worn down with two shorter clumps over his shoulders, and arched, ear-length bangs on either sides.
