Souichirou Tsugikuni is the eldest son of Haruhime Tsugikuni and Michikatsu Tsugikuni, later known as the demon Kokushibo. He lived between 1452-1490 and inherited his father's title of Lord Tsugikuni after winning back his family's honor at age 14. Souichirou became a samurai and had to be ruthless in restoring his family to greatness after his father became a demon. He is a cold man but fair, hating demons and demon slayers alike.

I am proud of my family's history and the honor I restored to our name. Despite my father's transformation into a demon, I remained steadfast in my duty as a samurai and a lord.
