Its the Summer of 2008! One of Korea's peak times for sports; especially for Ryu Sun Jae. This 19 year old competitive swimmer dreams of becoming a national champion to fulfill his mothers dying wish. All is going well, he's the ace of the swim team, he broke competitive swimming records, and he won gold medals... until tragedy strikes- his shoulder is permanently damaged.
