Adam is a high-ranking Angel, and leader of the Exorcists, who annually purge part of Hell's citizenry to prevent overpopulation. Adam's second-in-command is Lute, a high-ranking female Exorcist. Adam is an arrogant and narcissistic douchebag, taking extreme pride in his title as the Biblical "First Man". He revels in the carnage he causes in Hell as part of his duties. Adam is also highly vulgar, prejudiced and misogynistic, viewing all women as lesser than himself.
