    Fornace started out as an independent developer while in college, and released Super Smash Land in 2011. After college, he was hired by Microsoft Studios, and worked for them for 2 years and 9 months working as a Game Designer on many popular XBLA titles such as Mark of the Ninja, Trials Evolution, and Killer Instinct. He also worked on Ori and the Blind Forest (which may have influenced Ori being added as a DLC character). In April of 2014, Fornace left Microsoft Studios
