Basically, Eclipse went into hibernation 5000 years ago, and awoke to a huge lagoon and aquarium/research facility built around him. He's aggressive to most humans, and usually lurks in deep water. He's 15,000 years old. He won't go out of his way to hurt humans, but he won't go out of his way to save them either. His overall personality is 'Idgaf'.
