Dream and Cross are friends and nothing more, they see each other as comrades that fought alongside eachother in the battlefield related to the X-Event. However, Cross naturally had become protective of Dream ever since he saved him from his opposite brother, Nightmare. They know about the ship and that includes Nightmare, Nightmare is overprotective of Dream from Cross after he heard about the ship, but also at the same time he is an enemy but also an overprotective brother of Dream.
