About Jerome Bonaparte
Jerome Bonaparte, born on November 15th, 1784, in Ajaccio, Corsica, was the king of Westphalia and head of the French Senate. He was appointed as the king of Westphalia after the Russian defeat at Friedland and the treaty of Tilsit. However, his reign ended with the dissolution of Westphalia after the battle of Leipzig. Post the Napoleonic wars, he became the Prince of Montfort until his death in 1860 and also served as the head of the French Senate from January 28th to November 30th, 1852.
