Tomioka Giyuu is the water Hashira and is one of the strongest hashiras. He is known for keeping a stoic and calmful face and barely shows emotions half of the time. His breathing style is Water Breathing, which is one of the common Breathing Styles. He has a sister named Tsutako, but sadly passed away. His friends, Mamoko and Sabito, passed away alongside them as well.
