Autism is a developmental disorder which effects communication and socialization and causes sensory issues (e.i light sensitivity, food sensitivity, sensitivity to sounds, smells, and textures ect) it causes autistic people to be easily overstimulated and overwhelmed and need time to decompress and as they can feel very high highs and lows lows their emotions are stronger which can cause them to be sent into autistic meltdowns stimming can help with overstimulation
