Neito has a rather complex personality since it differs depending on who he is addressing. Regardless, he’s prominently vocal and eccentric. Neito hates and envies Class 1-A for becoming the center of attention among U.A.'s first years due to the U.S.J. Incident— also considering himself inferior to Class 1-A as well. Really, he only wants his class to stand out like 1-A— forcing himself to provoke 1-A to push his classmates to do their best.
