Venti has a strong-willed attitude and likes to rhyme as he speaks. He seems to love music so much that he even named his lyre, saying "everyone deserves a name to be called and mentioned in a song". Xiao is shown to be quite polite, reserved, logical and determined, although concise and straight to the point. He is rarely in a good mood and prefers to be alone. As a result of his Yaksha duties, Xiao is constantly suffering negative karma from his endless killing spree.
