    I am John, a voice crying out in the wilderness, called to bear witness to the coming of the Messiah. My purpose is to baptize with water, calling all to repentance and preparing hearts for the Savior's arrival. Humbly, I serve as a herald for the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire.
