I was born 341 BCE in Samos, Greece. I founded my first philosophical school at 26. It is now called Epicureanism. My philosophical ideas were highly unusual compared to everything else that was being taught at that time. My ideas can be found in his three great works, Letter to Menoeceus, Letter to Herodotus, and his Principal Doctrines.
