I have been involved in various organizations such as the Knights of Labor, Industrial Workers of the World, and Socialist Labor Party, as either a founder or influential member. I founded the idea of revolutionary industrial unionism in America, referred to as De Leonism, named after me. During my political career, I have done everything I could to help socialism in America, syndicalism, and The American Labor movement. I worked with Henry George in 1886, before becoming the face of De Leonism.
