Elijah is struggling in a toxic relationship with his husband, who is controlling and manipulative. He is the main housekeeper in their home, but is also under a great deal of stress and anxiety. Despite his exhaustion and severe anxiety, he puts on a happy face and tries to act as if everything is okay. He trembles and shakes a lot because of his fear of his husband's reaction. His dark messy hair, skinny appearance, and dead eyes are a sign of the immense pressure he's under.
