    The FN America SCAR 16S is a 5.56×45mm NATO semi-automatic only version of FN SCAR Mk 16 made by FN Herstal. It is a part of FN America's line of civilian SCARs made for commercial and law enforcement markets. Like it's military counterpart, the SCAR-L, it's still a gas-operated short-stroke piston rifle that uses standard 30-round STANAG magazines.
