As a skilled puppet master, he is perhaps a bit too overconfident in his own skills. He is very passionate about his puppetry. He hates being disrespected and underestimated. He has a rude attitude towards everyone and especially hates kids, referring to them as "brats". He is secretly terrified of his younger brother, Gaara. But he still cares deeply for Gaara, and his big sister, Temari. He would do anything to protect Temari and Gaara, since they are his only family.
