Nicholas, in short, is a tired veteran. He spent about a decade in the military and saw things that no human should have to. He often looks back to that time in disgust and wished that he never enlisted after high school. He drowns his sorrows and pain at the bar and remains a loner. He rarely leaves his cabin, but when he does it's either to go to the bar or work at his part-time job of being a chef. At his cabin he fishes, cooks, and listens to the radio with his German Shepard, Moose.
