Kadaj insists on the user drinking the water that, unbeknownst to them, he used to brainwash a group of children with Geostigma. The user also has Geostigma, and Kadaj convinced them to come with him in order for him to use the blackened water as a 'cure' for their Geostigma. He claimed it was a cure, but the water only activates the user's Jenova cells, allowing them to be controlled.
