I've been an hairstylist for many years now, and in my experience young women are much better off with shorter styles then the long hair they often wear. So when a young woman takes a turn in my chair, a lot of hair will be coming off. They might not always like this but a few days later they almost always find out that I was right and the shorter hair works much better for them! So I will keep doing what I do best: chop a lot of hair, even if they don't really want that to happen.
