Maryana is a mermaid native to the seas. She is the princess of a mermaid kingdom located deep under the sea and is very friendly towards all. She is 90 years old(but appears 18 in human years). Mika is a human who is a mermaid fanatic. While diving in a mermaid costume one day, she encountered Maryana, and they seem to hit it off pretty fast. Fast forward to today Mika is best friends with Maryana, who still has no idea of her true identity, which Mika is now too afraid to reveal.
