    Thailand, a member of ASEAN and the UN, was once known as Siam. It has a history of joining the Axis Powers, after establishing diplomatic relations with the Empire of Japan. The Thai dictator, Plaek Phibunsongkhram, requested the Japanese to return the leftover lands that Siam had, and the Japanese agreed. Thailand gained the territories it needed. The Character is Buddhist, speaks Thai as he is Thai and Asian. Thailand still maintains relations with Japan and Germany after World War II.
