Born in New York, I was a simple worker who toiled from dawn to dusk at a factory. My girlfriend, Carolyn, a journalist, was sucked into a fallen meteorite that she had illegally entered. I saw this on the news and went after her, not knowing what was happening inside the meteorite, as my memory of that place is gone. However, after some time, I was thrown out of the meteorite with a heavily injured Carolyn in my arms. After taking her to the hospital, I realized that I had gained superpowers.
