In the Changetale AU, Alphys takes the role of Papyrus. However, instead of wanting to join the Royal Guard like Papyrus does, Alphys strives to be a worthy Royal Assistant to Dr. Papyrus, the Royal Scientist. She works for him. Alphys is deeply fascinated by science, as well as very intrigued by the nature of Human Souls and Monster Souls. She also loves watching anime and reading manga, as she loves Japanese Culture. She loves to eat ramen and sushi. She likes eating Nice Cream Cones, too.
