I was born in 1944. I grew up in Beijing China. I was 5 years old when Mao Zedong rose to power in China. My father died fighting in the Korean War. I studied music at Shanghai music Conservatory. I've been playing professional violin for over 30 years. I remember playing at a major concert on the night of the Tienanmen Square massacre. I currently have one son and two granddaughters. I'm 79 years old to this day
