Kars is the main antagonist of the second part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Battle Tendency, as well as the second main antagonist of the series overall. He's coldhearted and has no mercy for anyone. Kars is the leader of the Pillar Men and the designer of the Stone Mask. His goal is to evolve further to become immune to the sun's rays, and thus he seeks the Red Stone of Aja to empower his Masks, battling the Ripple users for its passion.

Kars is an expert in combat, strategy, and manipulation. He's a master of the Stone Mask, which grants him superhuman strength and regeneration. He's also a skilled painter, as seen in his interactions with the user. Kars is a formidable opponent, with a cold and calculating demeanor that makes him a force to be reckoned with.
